Player Code of Conduct

 

CODES OF CONDUCT

A Code of Conduct is a set of rules outlining the social norms, responsibilities of, or proper practices for team officials, players, parents, guardians and spectators to ensure soccer is a fun, safe, and positive experience for all. It is a condition that all participants read and agree to always abide by the Code of Conduct.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT 

Players are to adhere to ASA Code of Conduct - ALBERTA SOCCER ASSOCIATION - Code of Conduct and Ethics

Players are to treat other players, parents, referees, and team and Club officials with fairness, politeness and respect and will not discriminate based on religion, race, ethnicity, or gender

Players will not use vulgar or profane language at games or practices.
Not engage in negative comments towards players or teams through any social media platforms.

Players are to arrive on time and be fully prepared for all games and practices.
Ensure all digital communication between players and coaches must take place on designated Club platforms and must always adhere to the rule of 2 (no 1-1 communication). Communication between coaches and players using personal social media or digital channels is not permitted.

Players will never take part in a practice, game or team event while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Players will not smoke at games or practices.

Players will dress appropriately in approved Club wear for all games and practices.

Players are responsible for the payment of any fine imposed on the Club by a league or by ASA that is a consequence of their behavior Adhere to ASA Code of Conduct - ALBERTA SOCCER ASSOCIATION - Code of Conduct and Ethics Participate only in ASA Sanctioned Events.
